A daily concern for all carers whether at home or in a healthcare setting is minimising the risk of falls. To help promote safety, the Fall Savers Wired Bed Monitoring System includes the necessary items for a bed monitoring system with a localised alarm. The bed sensor pad will alert carers immediately when a person leaves their bed. It can also be integrated into an existing nurse call system or used with an optional portable pager.

The Fall Savers® Wired Bed Monitoring System includes the items below to meet the needs of the person in your care.

Fall Savers® Antibacterial Bed Sensor Pad

The Bed Pad with our unique interlocking 2 metre pigtail lead will connect to the Fall Savers Monitor and activate an alert when a person gets out of the bed and their weight moves off the sensor pad. The Fall Savers bed sensor pad fits above the bed, is antibacterial & antimicrobial and has a wipe clean surface.

Fall Savers® Monitor

This monitor incorporates the latest technology from Fall Savers and has a Nurse Call Jack output which allows it to interface with most nurse call systems using the appropriate cable. Special features include the ability to use one monitor with two sensor pads plugged in, for example a bed pad and a floor pad. It also has a high / low or silent mode option and a recordable Personalised Voice Alert. The Silent Alarm option eliminates alarm noise in the room and should only be used if interfaced with a nurse call system or used with a portable pager. The Fall Savers Monitor is supplied with a 9V battery but can be used with a mains adapter (purchased separately).
